In 2016, he founded Goldrush School of Music, a music lesson studio in Blairsville, Georgia where he and other instructors teach piano, guitar, drums, violin, ukulele and voice. From an early age, in addition to piano recitals, school concert band, orchestra and chorus, Eric played rock music with his older brother and later had a basement band with friends. Eric plays piano, keyboard, drums, guitar and sings.
In 2021, during the pandemic, Eric released his second album Be, a set of meditative, nature-inspired melodic pieces featuring acoustic guitar, ukulele, bongos, shakers, kalimbas and vocal harmonies.
As a songwriter, Eric has written many tunes in various styles from rock to pop to jazz. He is currently working on his third album featuring original songs and a full line-up of instruments including drums, bass guitar, acoustic and electric guitars, piano, synthesizer (Casio CZ-1000), MIDI controlled software organs, and vocals.
